Welcome to the Evelyn Bliss Lewis Children’s Center. We are celebrating our ninth year as a preschool in the Lee’s Summit community, and have completed our yearly compliance with the Missouri Department of Health Bureau of Child Care Rules (Section 210 RSMO) 001402771.  Our preschool is licensed through the City of Lee’s Summit, as well as License-Exempt through the state of Missouri.  We follow all mandated licensing rules that are governed and annually inspected by the Child Care Facility Specialist, the Sanitation Department, and the State Fire Marshall.  Yearly inspections are reported to the Missouri Department of Health, and all preschool records are kept on file and are readily available to state and city officials.  The children’s enrollment forms are filed in a file box, which can be easily accessed in case of an emergency.  All children’s records are confidential, and only made available to licensed childcare facility specialists, state and or emergency medical officials.
